So I was resting by the trail today, airing out my feet, when I noticed my second toe on my right foot looked off. The toenail looked like it was swollen. Now I've had a toenail grow in under the existing one, so I figured that's what happened. I took the nail file on my nail clippers and slipped it under the nail. Things should not go a full quarter of an inch under you nail pain-free. So I figured I was right and pulled it out. As the file came out, it was followed by a gush of clear liquid. So apparently that toenail is just sitting atop one giant blister. I noticed that there are blisters partially underneath the nails on both big toes too. I have a feeling I'm losing some toenails soon. Stay tuned!
